August 9, 1997 PATHFINDER HUNT

I was asked to hide for N6ZHZ & KD6CYG, they had other obligations. There were two T-'s Location was at The Newport Aquatic Center in BackBay, also known as North Star Beach. I was parked in the parking lot facing the Aquatic Center. Earlier that day I received permission to park there after dark.

T1 was 5w pointed NE or to the left of Santiago Mt.

T2 Was a GQ T about 200' from T1, behind a life vest locker that was buried in the sand. T2 was being guarded by a 10 inch Tarantula African Spider. I found out that two hunters have Arachnophobia.
