Perhaps you have noticed as you speed along the freeway some of the new cell phone sites that look like palm trees. Well, we hid under one near the intersection of the 5 and 55 freeways. The transmitter was running 2 watts into a rubber duck sitting 6 inches off the ground. It was located 35 feet away from the traffic lanes of the 55 freeway and 40 feet from the above mentioned palm tree cell site. We believe the cell site belongs to NEXTEL.
