Hiders: Joe K0OV, Tom WB6UZZ AND April WA6OPS

Somebody said that Pantera Park in Diamond Bar has been used for the Fullerton club hunt before, but I'll bet that hider didn't put a yagi up on the hillside in the wilderness area south of the park, pointed NNE and nicely blocked from the start point.  That's what WB6UZZ and I did, with enough coax so that the transmitter was legally within 100 feet of the street and the parking lot.

We hoped to lure the teams out the 60 freeway to at least Phillips Ranch Road, but I don't think anyone went that far out of the way.  All the official teams successfully sniffed out the antenna on the side of the hill.

Welcome back to Phil and Karen, who got to the site with their Ramsey Doppler.

Afterwards, everyone gathered around to admire K6SNE's new secret weapon.
