There were only two teams for the Fullerton hunt, Deryl/Steve N6AIN/WA6PYE and Don KF6GQ. The transmitter was hidden by Monte KE6GQO in Santiago Hills Park in the city of Orange near the cross streets of Jamboree and Chapman. The parks altitude was approximately 550 feet and surrounded by hills in all directions. This seemed to cause nice reflections for the hunters. The transmitter was a HTX-202 transmitting 1 watt into an omni directional 5/8 whip placed in a baby stroller. Cookies and soda were at the finish.
