This was our first transmitter hide and we were challanged to hide some place where no one had hidden before. Apparently, we were successful in that endeavor, as there were comments that we had done so.

We were hidden deep in Oak Canyon near Turnbull Canyon, but not near a ridge line. We were hidden at the intersection of Oak Canyon Dr. and Athel Dr.

We were transitting about 25 watts into an 8 element quad pointed east. The reflections were plentiful and strong. The bearings at the start were pointing generally North-east. The successful teams went north on the 57 freeway and got a strong indication to the west as they cleared Pathfinder Road.
