April and I got back from Santa Barbara just in time to head out and hide the March FRC T-hunt. Our spot was less than 700 yards from the last place we hid the FRC hunt, but we were on the other side of a 1300-foot ridge this time and the propagation to the start point was completely different. The half-watt T was in a canyon at the end of Bluegrass Place in Pomona (TG-LA-640-E3) with the beam pointed at Mount Baldy. We hoped that some hunters would guess that we were at Prado Dam or Rio Hondo, but everyone headed out in generally the right direction. Some, like KD6SNE disclosed, apparently "circled in."

The biggest excitement was the dead skunk in the path from the road to the transmitter. (No, we didn't put it there!) Did any hunters have to deodorize their shoes?
