N6AIN Ts

On Thursday I drove out to the Antelope Valley and found a nice high spot at the summit of Godde Hill Road. It had a good view of the Lancaster area. I place my AF6O T in a bush on the East side of the road. It was programmed to come on at 10:00 AM Saturday.

On Saturday I drove out and had a big breakfast with some of the Antelope Valley people at Crazy Otto's. Too much food, but good. It was on Avenue I JIPPY! After a long day of hunting and finding 11 Ts, at 4:30 PM I started picking up my Ts.

When I got the Godde Hill Road T and started back down the hill I heard another T. It was back towards Lancaster. I stopped, got a tank of gas and 15 minutes or so later I found my 12th T, just north of Avenue I and a few yards west of the 14.

After having a great spaghetti dinner with everyone I headed home around 7:33 PM.

So thank you, N6AIN for getting the T's to give us the points.
We think we found eight T's which will give us 12 points total. We had great fun, sorry we didn't get there in time for breakfast & missed out on dinner. Deryl, don't we get two points for your T 1 & T "one"? Don & Steve KF6GQ & KD6LAJ

WB6JPI T's

My one transmitter was located behind some bushes off of 85th street west, near Avenue L with the ID of WB6JPI T-1.

It came on at 9:04 AM and was found by:

N6AIN 1012
W6WYT 1045
KF6GQ/LAJ 1070 ??
KR6DR 1320

I took the transmitter up at 2:45P and headed home east on 138. I turned the transmitter off at 3:25. I found 8 transmitters and had to leave at 3:00 to get home by 4:30.
Zook sported a new windshield, new alternator, freshly repaired transfer case, new radio, defective attenuate, broken computer, two major electrical shorts (both fixed enroute), temperatures of 65-95, breakfast at the wrong Otto's (there are three of the wily devils), and a great time...
