for coming out on our MEATHEAD all-day hunt. The hide didn't go completly
the
way we had anticipated, but it went off ok. We did have excelent weather, not
too hot, or
cold We hid in Little Morengo Canyon, south of Yucca Valley. To get to the
hiding place,
either you took a long ride up the canyon (6miles), or you came down
from the north. This met,
going down a very steep hill into the canyon. We had flowing
water on the road, and
mud,so it made for a great T-hunt type road. We didn't have any
cell phone coverage from
the hidden T spot, but had to drive up the hill to the top, where
we had coverage (about 10
mins.).We declare that the winners are the very adept hunting
team of K6SNE and N6IDF
didn't get folled into going up into Big Bear).
