Transmitter Hunt For

August 3rd 2002

Transmitter was located in the hiker parking lot directly across the from the candy store on Ortega Hwy (74). T was 50-watts running through a Cushcraft 4-element yagi mounted on a tripod about 4 feet above my car. We were pointing at a large chunk of granite on the hill to the Southwest. Hunters reported a momentary signal from the start point and then nothing for several miles....... Here are the results:
