T1 was located in the Hastings Ranch Plaza in Pasadena, on Foothill Blvd., one block North of the 210 FWY; Thomas Bros. 566H4. The transmitter was running approximately 3 watts into a 1/4 wave antenna magnet mount on the top of the Land Rover. The truck was parked in front of Sears in the parking lot along Foothill Blvd this was next to the weekly car show at Fuddruckers. T2 was located behind Mervyn’s at the rear (NE corner) of the shopping center along Michilinda Ave, the transmitter was running approximately 11/2 watts into a 1/4 wave antenna. T3 was a KF6GQ micro transmitter on the south side of the freeway off of Colorado Blvd and Michilinda Ave. at the rear (SE corner) of the parking lot of Coco’s restaurant. It was a nice evening with no rain and not real cold, so if weather kept you away it should not have. Thanks to the teams that participated.
